Too all yee lost Gamers....
So, I bought Age of Conan for my Stepson for his B-day. I have played a gaurdian to lvl 13 on "doomsayer" server. This game is fun and has crazy potential. I know its another MMO and starting something new is frightening,... but let me know if anyone is interested. It would be nice to get everyone on the same server.
I'm really burnt out on WOW....

Woohoo! Go Dave!!!
So, I've played to lvl 27 and so far its pretty cool. Level 1-20 is single player and the store is pretty cool. After lvl 20 the game becomes less linear. There are a lot of errand type quests after lvl 20 that can be somewhat tedious, but they aren't incredibly boring. Grouping is fun and when everyone plays their role, quests are much easier. I think Im going to start a new char soon, since this one is on my sons account,... it wont take long to build back up.
Anyway, look me up!

Well sorry for the delay X... I went to the local wally-world and they were sold out of AOC, and I haven't found the time to go back, or to anywhere else yet. Maybe sometime soon I'll grab a copy, or download it. |

yeah I've been trying a few servers. Not the PVP type myself... still it's a great game so far. |

Fellas, Sorry haven't replied, I'm not getting notified of posts anymore,...  Anywhoo.... I'll look you up. The ganking is out of control on the PVP servers, but I still have a great time, I think it adds to the excitement. I'm going camping this weekend, but I'm going to try to get some gametime in on Sun. |

well after a few weeks of playing this game I got to warn everyone who might actually still come to this forum and care:
AOC has gotz major issues!
check their forums before buying. ALOT of the game features they make claims to do not work, or are fubar ATM. Give them a few months and maybe things will be better.
Not much to say positive really. the graphics would be great if they could the FPS up some (even high end machines!)
anyways I will probably go back to private WOW for awhile until they get things rolling more.

status update for those interested:
Been having a blast on PVE server SET. They have been making some progress with the game, and have made a slight improvement with the FPS issue. From what I've read the PVP servers are a gank-fest with imbalances changing the game play on a weekly basis.
As for the PVE servers most people are happy as can be, and alot of the guilds(including the one I'm in) are arcing for a battlekeep so they can begin siege warfare! (still buggy btw)
If anyone is interested I recommend they look me up (blackeye is my first character on SET)

yeah it be official I cancelled my account for this crap-tastic game. After many patches and many promised fixes the game has lost all appeal to me.
Hmmmm maybe Warhammer online?
